We started with a sprinkle - ended in sunshine - from Foltz Mill/Newport down to the 211 bridge at Luray.  River was 600 cfs - a medium level - with 2" clearance along the ledges. - moving right along - with picnic, it was four hours. As it warmed, some of us took off paddle jackets and the like.

Our crew: Ron K, Micki K, and I drove up together in Ron's truck, Jenny & Kim together, and Randy S, and John Snitzer. We had two newbies for the run - Miki and John. And I learned a lovely shuttle route on the right of the river - which Ron uses to bike back to the put-in. Drove up via Warrenton - 211 - back by Front Royal - 340.

Meanwhile, Tim took from Anglers to Lock 10 a group that made Thursday history - Ben Morton showed up with a SUP, which he guided down in the company of Mike A, and Howard M, encountering Ursy & Carter along the way.
