Canoe Cruisers Association

The Bethesda Center of Excellence (BCE) constitutes the racing division of CCA. The BCE promotes and provides opportunities for training and development in slalom and wildwater racing.  The BCE is designated as a training center by the U.S. Whitewater Canoe and Kayak Team (USCKT).

The objectives of this organization are to encourage enjoyment, preservation, and exploration of American waterways for self powered craft; to protect the wilderness character of these waterways through conservation of water, wildlife, and parks; to promote safety and proficiency in all aspects of wildwater activities; to promote appreciation for the recreational value of wilderness waterways and wildwater sports; to chart and preserve wilderness waterways in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

The Blue Ridge Voyageurs (BRV) is a voluntary association of experienced whitewater paddlers (both open and decked boats) from the Washington, DC area. BRV'ers revel in the challenge, camaraderie, adventure, and natural beauty of whitewater paddling. The club offers trips at all skill levels from beginner to expert.

The Canadian Recreational Canoeing Association (CRCA) was conceived in 1971 by a number of key individuals heavily involved in recreational canoeing. The Association was formed as a result of the perceived need that recreational paddling enthusiasts from across Canada required a national body to co-ordinate the efforts of those involved in non-competitive canoeing and kayaking. Today, the Association acts as the national office for ten provincial and three territorial associations, as well as 2.3 million recreational paddlers.

The Carolina Canoe Club, located in North Carolina, provides a resource for paddlers of all kinds - whitewater, flatwater, and oceanwater. We have over 700 members in North Carolina and other states who paddle anywhere you can find good water to paddle.

Coastal Canoeists is a family-oriented club dedicated to the enjoyment and advancement of paddle sports. Coastals' membership include canoeists, kayakers and others from the southeastern U. S, but primarily from Virginia. Activities of the club include an active club volunteer coordinated trip roster with trips for members, at all skill levels, happening nearly every weekend of the year.

The Greater Baltimore Canoe Club is a group of paddlers primarily from the Baltimore/Washington area paddling together to promote fun, safety, and awareness on the river. Our members organize and lead many canoe and kayaking trips in the Mid-Atlantic area.

The Lehigh Valley Canoe Club was formed in 1977 to bring together people who have a common interest in canoeing and kayaking and to increase the safety, skill and enjoyment of the sport. Currently the club has about 350 members. Their ages range from 2 to 80 years and their interests include just about every phase of the sport from a lazy drift down a backwoods stream, to competition racing, to big white water.

The Monocacy Canoe Club (MCC) is the fastest growing paddling organization in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., area, and is also the club most steeped in tradition.  A great club with a great LINKS Page.

The Nashville, TN Non-Profit Conservation, Canoeing, and Kayaking Organization: Dedicated to the preservation of free-flowing rivers, promotion of paddling skills, and river safety.

TRPC is a Pittsburgh-region club consisting of over 400 (mostly whitewater) paddlers from Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, the Maryland panhandle and beyond.

The West Virginia Wildwater Association (WVWA) was founded in 1965, with the purpose of paddling and enjoying the wild and scenic rivers of West Virginia and the surrounding Appalachian area, from the original hand full of members, it has grown into a major recreational and conservation organization in the state.
